So finally after years of patience, the first few patents have finally shown up on the web. They are still pre-grant. But here you go..[Patents].

Its taken more than 1.5 years for this to go from applied to “pre-grant”.

Heres another one that we really really like : aperto, in portrero hill, but still a great restaurant. Mykonos, this could be a hit or miss, depending on the day. Then there is zuppenkukke. This is a great place to go, if you are in a big group. The food is great and theres lots of beer to be had out of boot shaped mugs.

What else…we went to the Radiohead concert. The sound went off a few times ..so that sucked :(. Not as good as the one in UC Berkeley in 2006, but then..it still Radiohead after all.

So i went for a swim in the Bay for the first time after coming back from Pareee. And my triceps are about to fall off my arm. No single part of my anatomy has ever been so sore from any type of activity ever..evarrrrrr.

Someone needs to clean that water up BTW. The clarity is horrible. But theres nothing like waking up on a Sunday morning, starting off with a nice relaxing walk on the aquatic park promenade, taking in the cold fresh sea breeze, then swimming your ass off and then getting a big breakfast in Lori’s.

One of the better things about living in the city! And when and if I leave SF, i’ll sorely miss it.

I have a cold and cough and a sore throat. My respiratory passages are congested… think traffic on 101..yep that bad! I’ve been spraying mucus all around the house and all over the keyboard as I type. On the brighter side, my keyboard looks a little less dusty, its getting a bit of a sheen. I also think I might loose some body weight in mucus.

Well anyways i’ve been medicating myself with Nyquil on a regular basis, and its wonderful, its like getting solshed, without the hangover. Mallika and I went out the other night and she was calling it “Nyquila shots”. I don’t drink them in shot glasses, except that would make it more interesting..although i’d leave the lemon and salt out!

So we had nice trip to Paris. The weather was good, the people were not quite as snobbish as I’d heard they’d be. Everyone spoke pretty decent English. Getting around was easy. And its a really nice city with a lot of history.

One of those mornings, we stumbled upon this restaurant called “Les Duex Magots“. Turns out that place was somewhat of a big deal. But a nice place and very laidback, contrary to what its reputation would suggest.

Microsoft has said, twice now, in its public letters, that it wishes to become number 2 on the internet.

“…the combination will create a more competitive marketplace by establishing a compelling number two competitor for Internet search …”

In my opinion, Microsoft is already a very compelling number two. It is number two at everything it does, from number two operating systems to …er..um..what else does it do? Oh ya! “MS Turd”, “spread shits” etc! I mean, there is a good reason, why the zune is brown in color.
Yahoo, on the other hand, has also been number two at search for a long time now. And combining Yahoo! and Microsoft will make a new brand of smellier number two. And that can’t be good for anyone!
